Trust Nation Builders

A group of Africans in the Diaspora has come from an angle of contribution to developing Africa rather than complaining, moaning, fault-finding, and worst still, criticising the African politicians when we ourselves, just sit on our hands and bury our heads in the sand. By this, we mean we don’t just want to campaign for good governance in Africa, but come forth with ideas and implement those ideas, as our contribution.

Like it or loath it, good governance is the only way any economy can be built. And a well built economy will produce a good citizenry healthy and able to play their role in making our world a better and safer place. A good and credible democratic system is the bedrock of a stable and sustainable government which will properly look after its citizenry.

For the fact that many of us have been out of Africa for a long time; and perhaps have established ourselves as citizens of two worlds – the developed and the developing, we have an unrivalled and unchallengeable position to liaise between two worlds. So we came up first of all with an idea of an organisation that will put our case on the world stage and another organisation which will do the nitty-gritty work in each African country on the African continent. That led to the birth of FRIENDS OF AFRICA CONSORTIUM (FOACON) LTD, based in London.
